The early years in the child’s life are important for the overall development. The primary role of SSVP is to provide
children with an environment that is loving, caring, fun-filled and one which provides happy experiences. This is very
important in fostering the developmental areas, like, cognitive development, physical development, socio-emotional
development.

Play is a fundamental part of daycare activities. It allows children to explore, develop motor skills, and engage in imaginative play. Schools often provide designated play areas with age-appropriate toys, blocks, puzzles, and art supplies.
Circle time is a group activity where children gather in a circle with a teacher or caregiver. It typically includes songs, rhymes, stories, and interactive discussions. Circle time helps children develop listening skills, language abilities, and social interactions.
Art activities allow children to express their creativity and develop fine motor skills. Schools may provide materials like crayons, paints, glue, and paper for children to engage in drawing, painting, collage-making, and other craft projects.
Music and movement activities involve singing, dancing, and playing musical instruments. These activities promote coordination, rhythm, self-expression, and language development. Children may engage in simple dance routines or participate in music-based games.
Storytelling sessions introduce children to the world of literature and foster a love for reading. Teachers or caregivers read age-appropriate books aloud, encouraging children to listen, ask questions, and engage with the story. Some schools may also have a dedicated library corner for children to explore books independently.
Outdoor playtime allows children to engage in physical activities and develop gross motor skills. Schools often have playgrounds or designated outdoor spaces where children can run, jump, climb, and play games. Outdoor play also promotes social interactions and an appreciation for nature.
